ITINERARY

Day 1

Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Kansai Airport – Wakayama – Yuasa – Osaka 関西機場 - 和歌山 - 湯浅 - 大阪

Hotel: Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka or similar / Western Room

Meal: Meal on Board / L / D

Upon arrival at Kansai Airport, transfer to Wakayama city and stop for lunch [Tuna Set] at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit Kuroshio Market (黒潮市場). The seaside fish market offers freshly caught seafood and is nicknamed ‘Tuna Land’ as Bluefin tuna is caught in this area. Here, join the Tuna Cutting Show where a professional will expertly slice and filet tuna while explaining about the famous fish. Next, transfer to Yuasa for a Soy Sauce Factory Visit. Yuasa was the birthplace of soy sauce production and during the tour, you will be introduced to the production process and tasting session of soy sauce. Thereafter, enjoy some free time at Dotonbori (道頓堀) & Shinsaibashi Street (心斎橋). The shopping districts are famous and main highlights of Osaka, with its eccentric atmosphere, large illuminated signboards and endless restaurants serving specialty dishes such as takoyaki, ramen, crab and udon. Tonight, dinner will be served at a local restaurant [Crab Kaiseki Course] before transferring to the hotel for check in.

Day 3 Osaka – Kyoto – Nara 大阪 - 京都 - 奈良

After breakfast, first stop for today is Fujinomori Shrine (藤森神社) ✿, founded by Empress Jingu and origin of Children’s Day was born here. Well known for answering prayers wishing for victory and studies, as well as the hydrangea garden that fully blooms in June. The garden contains about 3,500 hydrangea plants ranging from pink, blue and white. Next, visit Fushimi Inari Shrine (伏見稲荷大社). Famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates, this attraction is no stranger for visitors to Japan! Dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice, many fox statues can be found on the shrine grounds as foxes are thought as the messengers for Inari. This afternoon, lunch [Shabu-Shabu Set] will be at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Arashiyama and visit Togetsu Bridge (渡月橋) and Bamboo Grove (嵐山竹林). The 155m bridge built across the Katsura River is a well-known place of scenic beauty in Western Kyoto. The name Togetsu, which means moon crossing, stemmed from a tale where an emperor thought the moon looked like it was crossing the bridge. Next, immerse yourself in a tunnel of green at the bamboo forest, which is one of the icons of the city. At the end of the day, transfer to Nara for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 4 Nara – Iga – Ise 奈良 - 伊賀 - 伊勢

After breakfast, transfer to Todaiji Temple ‘The Great Buddha’ (黒門市場) and Nara Park (奈良公園). One of Japan’s most famous and significant temples, it was constructed in 752 as the head Buddhist temple and is one of the world’s largest wooden buildings. Located in Nara Park where there are over 1,000 free roaming deer, the temple and deer make up the symbols of the city and are must-visits. The Nara deer are considered to be the messengers of gods, tame and know how to ask for food from visitors! This afternoon, lunch [Soba Set] will be served at a local restaurant. Next, visit Ninja Museum of Igaryu (伊賀流忍者博物館), where your Ninja dreams come true! Today, we will visit the famous Iga clan in this village and learn their secrets, as well as become ninjas ourselves. Watch the Ninja Show to see specially trained performers demonstrate ninja moves and tricks. Thereafter, transfer to Ise for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy dinner [Buffet] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 5 Ise – Nagashima – Nagoya 伊勢 - 鳥羽 - 名古屋

Hotel: Nagoya Tokyu Hotel or similar / Japanese Room

After breakfast, visit Ise Jingu Shrine (伊勢神宮). The shrine has been a part of Japanese pilgrims for over 2000 years to visit ‘Naiku’ which is Shinto’s most sacred location. Every 20 years, the shrines are rebuilt from scratch. Next, visit Okage Yokocho (おかげ横丁), a small district that recreates the look and feel of townscapes in the Edo to Meiji Period. Featuring various shops and restaurants, we will spend some time exploring the area and have lunch [Ise Udon Set] at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to Nagashima for Nabana no Sato (なばなの里) ✿. The grounds of this park are home to numerous sections dedicated to flowers and the types of flowers changes throughout the year. In June, flowers such as tulips, roses, hydrangeas and irises are on display at one of the largest flower gardens in Japan. Following that, transfer to Nagoya and have some free time at Sakae Area (栄). The downtown district offers multiple department store and malls as well as places of interest such as Mirai Tower, Hisaya Odori Park and Oasis 21. Dinner will be under your own arrangement here before transferring to the hotel for check in.

Day 6 Nagoya – Hakone – Kawaguchiko 名古屋 - 箱根 - 河口湖

Hotel: Fuji View Hotel or similar / R.O.H.

Meal: B / L / D

Luggage will be transferred directly to Kawaguchiko. Please prepare a small luggage for one day use.

After breakfast, transfer to Nagoya Station. Take a Shinkansen Bullet Train ride from Nagoya to Odawara Station. Upon arrival, coach transfer to Hakone and visit Yamano Hotel Garden (山のホテル) ✿. The grand garden offers seasonal flowers in full bloom, amongst the view of Mt. Fuji and deep blue waters of Lake Ashi. After that, lunch [Beef Stew Set] at a local restaurant before boarding the Lake Ashi Cruise (芦ノ湖クルーズ) for views of Mt Fuji and red torii gate of Hakone Jinja Shrine. Next, enjoy Hakone’s scenic panorama by taking the Hakone Ropeway (箱根ロ-プウエイ). Thereafter to Gotemba Premium Outlets for shopping. There are many brands of international and local selection. Finally, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 7 Kawaguchiko – Mt Fuji – Tokyo 河口湖 - 富士山 - 東京

Hotel: Keio Plaza Hotel or similar / Western Room

After breakfast, first stop for today is Mt. Fuji 5th Station (富士スバルライン五合目), the most popular spot to see the mountain up close at 2300m above sea level. Next, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Hoto Hotpot Set]. Following that, the fruit orchard awaits you! Enjoy Peach Picking which is just in season. At the end of the day, transfer to Tokyo city for hotel check in. Tonight, dinner will be at your own expense in Tokyo city.

Day 8 Tokyo – Singapore 東京 - 新加坡
