ITINERARY

Day 1 Assemble at Changi Airport for Check in

Day 2 Nagoya – Kani – Takayama 名古屋 - 可児 - 高山

Hotel: Hotel Associa Takayama or similar / Western room

Meal: Meal on Board / L / D

Upon arrival at Nagoya Chubu Airport, coach transfer to Kani city. Visit Gifu World Rose Garden (ぎふワールドローズガーデン) ✿, the largest collection of roses in Japan with over 6,000 varieties and 20,000 rose bushes. There are many places to explore such as the Flower Museum, Flower Greenhouse and Flower Tower. May is one of the two best times to visit as this is when most of the roses are in full bloom! Next, proceed to a local restaurant for lunch [Hida Beef Set]. After lunch, we will visit Takayama Old Town (高山旧市街). It is a beautifully preserved old town with many buildings and houses dating back to the feudal ages when it thrived as a wealthy merchant town. Explore the many old houses, shops, cafes and sake breweries that have been in business for centuries. Thereafter, transfer to hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Set] at the hotel restaurant.

Day 3 Takayama – Shirakawago – Toyama 高山 - 白川郷 - 富山

Hotel: ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama or similar / Western room

After breakfast, proceed to Takayama Morning Market (朝市).The Takayama Morning Market have stands that sell local crafts, snacks and farm produce such as vegetables, pickles and flowers. It is one of the largest morning markets in the country and dates back to over 300 years ago. After that, transfer to Shirakawago and stroll around on your own at Shirakawago Village (白川郷). Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Next, have lunch [Hoba Miso Set] at a local restaurant before transferring to Toyama. Here, you will visit Kaiomaru Park (海王丸パーク) which exhibits the sailing ship “Lady of the Sea”. Get to board the ship which has been kept the same since its last active service in 1989. Learn more stories about the ship or just simply enjoy the view of Toyama and the bay area on board. Finally, transfer to hotel for check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Western Course] at the hotel.

Day 4 Toyama – Takayama Kurobe Alpine Route – Kamisuwa 富山 - 立山黒部アルペンルート - 上諏訪

Hotel: Hananoyu or similar / Japanese room

Meal: B / L / D

After breakfast, let’s start the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route (立山黒部アルペンルート) whole route approximately about 8 - 9hrs. Lunch at a local restaurant [White Shrimp Set]. After that, transfer to Kamisuwa for hotel check in. Tonight, enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 5 Kamisuwa – Magome – Kanzanji 上諏訪 - 馬籠 - 舘山寺

Hotel: Hotel Well Season Hamanako or similar / Japanese room

This morning after breakfast, take a stroll along the Old Magome Village (馬籠宿). It is a former post town in the Kiso Valley which served travelers on the Nakasendo route that connected Tokyo with Kyoto. The cobblestone streets are filled with lattice-windowed houses, museums, teahouses and souvenir shops that you can explore. You will be having lunch [Soba Set] at a local restaurant here before transferring to Chausuyama Kogen (茶臼山高原) ✿. The only winter ski resort in Aichi transforms into a slope of shibazakuras in spring with over 400,000 plants, in one of the highest shibazakura field in Japan. After that, transfer to the hotel for check in. Tonight, dinner [Buffet] will be served at the hotel restaurant.

Day 6 Kanzanji – Hamamatsu – Izu 舘山寺 - 浜松 - 伊豆

Hotel: Hotel Sun Valley Izu Nagaoka or similar / Japanese room

After breakfast, the fruit orchard awaits you! Enjoy Strawberry Picking which is just in season! Next, transfer to Shizuoka and stop for lunch [Suruga Area Local Japanese Set] at a local restaurant before participating in a Tea Leaves Picking Experience! Shizuoka’s high altitudes provide the perfect atmosphere for tea cultivation. Thereafter, visit Nihondaira Yume Terrace (日本平夢テラス). Get a 360 degree panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and the land of the legendary Yamato Takeru. The wooden architecture blends well with its natural landscape of Shizuoka, Suruga Bay and Miho no Matsubara. At the end of the day, transfer to Izu for hotel check in and enjoy your dinner [Japanese Kaiseki] at the hotel.

Day 7 Izu – Gotemba – Tokyo 伊豆 - 御殿場 - 東京

Hotel: Keio Plaza Hotel or similar / Western room

After breakfast, first stop for today is Komuroyama Park (小室山公園) ✿. The park has flowers to enjoy every season yearly and a must see are the azaleas! In May, the entire park looks like it is covered with a red carpet, with over 100,000 blooming azaleas of 40 different varieties. At the summit, a clear 360 degree panoramic view awaits you. Some of the sights you can see are the Sagami Bay, Boso Peninsula, Izu Islands and Amagi Mountain Range. Next, let’s proceed to the Gotemba Premium Outlets (御殿場プレミアムアウトレット) for shopping. Lunch will be under your own arrangement here. Thereafter, transfer to Tokyo city for hotel check in. Tonight, dinner will be at your own expense in Tokyo.

Day 8 Tokyo – Singapore 東京 - 新加坡
