ITINERARY
DAY 1: SINGAPORE - DA NANG - HOI AN
Check-in Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Danang
Upon arrival, proceed to to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries. Upon arrival, visit the Hoi An ancient town and be awe by its architecture, a combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence.and relaxed lifestyle of this beautiful nostalgic town. There are plenty to see and explore in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridge, Trieu Chau Assembly house, 200 years old Tan Ky House & Historical Museum, which reflect the town’s multi-cultural past. Evening, proceed for dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 2: HOI AN - CAM THANH - MY SON - HOI AN
After breakfast, proceed to the dock where you will take a wooden boat to explore the Cam Thanh water coconut village. Learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. Witness local fisherman doing their daily rounds of fishing using round net or cast net on the river. Here you can also learn how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. Be dazzle by the tranquility of coconut-palm flanked waterways and hear stories of past war and the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Next, lunch will be arranged at local restaurant. Later in afternoon, visit My Son Sanctuary, often referred to as the mini "Angkor Wat" of Vietnam, the Cham ruins at My Son are well worth the slightly journey needed to reach them. There are over 70 classic Cham monuments at My Son, dating from the 7th - 13th Centuries. Set against the backdrop of the appropriately named Cat's Tooth Mountain, they would have been an awesome sight in their prime. Next proceed back to Hoi An and dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 3: HOI AN - DA NANG
After breakfast at hotel, start the day with a visit to Marble Mountain in Da Nang. Climb Thuy Son (‘Water’ Mountain) by the stone stairs and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside and visit Huyen Khong cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung pagodas where you will be rewarded by great city views and amazed by the main cave which houses a beautiful Cham Buddha sitting under a natural shaft of light. Next we will enjoy a scenic drive around Son Tra peninsula named as Monkey Mountain – the screen of Da Nang City. Next we will visit the first Linh Ung Pagoda, where exists the highest Goddess of Mercy Statue of Viet Nam. The pagoda offers stunning views of Danang beach and Cham Islands in the distance. Upon arrival in Da Nang, have a picture stop at Dragon Bridge. This modern bridge crosses the Han River at the Le Dinh Duong/Bach Dang traffic circle, providing the shortest road link from the Da Nang International Airport to other main roads in Da Nang city. The bridge was designed and built in the shape of a dragon and to breathe fire each Saturday and Sunday night at 9pm. After which, enjoy dinner at local restaurant before proceeding to check-in hotel.
Note:
Please wear comfortable walking shoes as there are trekking required at Marble Mountain.
DAY 4: DA NANG
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Bana Hills, French Village. The resort is a unique architectural work of an ancient French villages: square, church, town, villages and hotels. Take the 20-minute cable car ride up the Bana Hills and enjoy the view of the peninsula and the lush green forests and waterfalls below and experience romantic, fine space of the ancient French architecture. Activities in French Village:
• Take the first and unique furnicular in Vietnam to a romantic flower garden – Le Jardin D’Amour. 9 gardens in Le Jardin D’Amour are 9 interesting stories in 9 unique architectural styles. These are: Legend Garden, Mo Spring Garden, Memory Garden, Thought Garden, Love Garden, Holy Garden, Heaven Garden, Secret Garden and Grape Garden.
• Visit Debay Ancient Wine Cellar. A unique work built by French architects and was dug deep in Ba Na Mountain in 1923.
• Campanile – built in the style of Buddha, guests are invited to visit this large bronze bell, weighing 4 tonnes and built on the peak of Ba Na Mountain.
• Fantasy Park – an ideal destination for the whole family.The park opens a lively and attractive enterainment world with many games for the children. Walking in Fairy Forest, discover Dinosaur Park, conquering the top with 29m Free-Fall Tower and free games that will surely bring exciting experiences to the tourists.
• Alpine Coaster – speed-lover looking for extreme feelings on high? Try to weave your alpine coaster through challenging spiral routes. Designed in absolute safety and this game is the top favourite of almost all tourist visiting Ba Na Hills.
• Golden Bridge:The Golden Bridge opened to visitors in early June, in the tourist retreat of Thien Thai Garden. The bridge sits 1,400 meters above sea level, an altitude which creates the illusion of a silk strip hiding in the clouds above Da Nang. Winding its way around a 150-meter course lined with flowers, a golden bridge shimmers against the Ba Na Hills, supported by a pair of giant hands.
• Optional visit to Ba Na Wax Statue Museum – the largest wax statue museum in Vietnam with many impressive wax status of the famous characters.Each statue is a delicate art master piece made by Italian artists. (Entry fees for this option is not included in the tour fare)
At 15:00: Take the 20-minute cable car ride down to the city. Photo taking opportunities are limitless in the picturesque backdrop of the French Village buildings before departing for Danang.
Next proceed for dinner before returning back to the hotel.
DAY 5: DA NANG - SINGAPORE
Transfer to airport for flight back to Singapore
