ITINERARY
DAY 1: SINGAPORE - HANOI - HA LONG
Check-in Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Meet and greet by our local guide at Noi Bai airport and transfer for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceeding to Ha Long bay, one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders and was recognized as World’s Natural Heritage by UNESCO. Thereafter dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 2: HA LONG - HANOI
After breakfast at hotel take a cruise on the emerald green waters of Ha Long among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands, visit grottoes Thien Cung & Dau Go. Thereafter enjoy a fresh local seafood lunch on board. Next proceed back to Hanoi after lunch time. On the way, stop over at Dai Viet rest stop. Upon reach Hanoi in the late afternoon, drop off at Old Quarter area for shopping. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 3: HANOI - SAPA
After breakfast at hotel we will start the day with a morning city tour to visit some of the city’s attractions including the fascinating Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (except for Monday & Friday, & closed for maintenance from 14 Jun – 14 Aug; Quan Thanh Temple will be replaced), Ho Chi Minh house on stilt & One Pillar pagoda. Thereafter visit Literature temple which is regarded as the first university of Vietnam. Stopover at Restored Sword lake for a photo stop. Next transfer to Sapa (Duration will take approximately 3.5 – 4 hours). Upon arrival in Sapa, enjoy dinner at local restaurant.
Note: • During the closure of Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Quan Thanh pagoda will be replaced. • Visit to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum: casual wear is not allowed.
DAY 4: SAPA - FANSIPAN - SAPA
After breakfast, following the road down to the valley by steps for about 5 km. While walking to the Cat Cat H’mong village you will have the opportunity to see the villagers working on the paddy fields and their animals, such as: chickens, water-buffaloes and pot – bellied pigs. You can also see the old hydro-electric power station which was built by the French time in the early 20th Century, and a beautiful waterfall that is a good place for resting and taking pictures. Going up and down by steps and then we keep walking to Sin Chai village where the black H’mong people also live. On the way to the village we can meet villagers. Look at a house of H’mong people we can see their weaving and dyeing cloth and lifestyle. Thereafter lunch at local restaurant. Next transfer to MGalery hotel and take Muong Hoa Train to transfer to cable car and visit Fansipan mountain which is highest in Indochina & considered as “ Rooftop of Indochina”. The cable car system of Fansipan Legend which conquers the “Indochina Rooftop”, is the highest, longest and most modern system of its type in the world. It has been recognized by the Guinness World Records Organization with two records: • The longest non-stop three-rope cable car: 6292,5m. • The greatest elevation difference by a non-stop three-roped cable car: 1410m. Arrive Fansipan, tram ride to the top (2 ways), the highest point in South East Asia & back.
Dinner at local restaurant.
Attire for the day:
Please wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip on this day due there are trekking and long walk to the villages.
Please bring along a jacket due temperature at Sapa and Fansipan is around 15 - 10oC for October and 12 – 5oC for November – December
DAY 5: SAPA - HANOI
After breakfast at hotel, this morning free at own leisure to walk around the Sapa town where you can shop for local produced. After lunch at local restaurant, transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant.
DAY 6: HANOI - SINGAPORE
Transfer to airport for flight back to Singapore Note Travelers need to do own check-in at the airport due guide not able to enter airport due restriction by airport.
