ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Sydney – Central Coast – Port Stephens (205km/2h30min)

On arrival, pick up your car and drive along the beautiful Central Coast. Visit Iris Lodge Alpacas for an interactive experience with the alpacas. Next, capture Instagram-worthy shots at Long Jetty, with its attractive Newtown-by-the-Sea feel. Then head off to Port Stephens for the night.

Day 2: Port Stephens

Get up close to marine life at the Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounters. Learn about baby sharks and manta rays in their enclosures and have a go at feeding them. In the afternoon, go on a dolphin watch cruise. Alternatively, visit Oakvale Farm Wildlife Park and encounter animals such as the Tasmanian devil, llama, koala, and kangaroo up close.

Day 3: Port Stephens – Hunter Valley (160km/2h15min)

This morning, head to one of Australia’s most established wine regions. Learn about the harvesting and bottling of wine at The Hunter Wine Theatre. Alternatively, sign up for a wine tasting session or enjoy a fine dining experience at San Martino to end your evening. Tasting sessions for cheese and beer are available as well.

Day 4 : Hunter Valley – Blue Mountains (275km/3h30min)

Drive south and you will arrive at the Jenolan Caves. Explore a subterranean wonderland of stalagmites and stalactites with their impressive stature and beauty. Next make a trip to Scenic World and take your pick from an array of adventurous activities: Take the historic 1880s funicular railway which shunts at a 52° incline, ride on the glass-floored Scenic Skyway cable car or take a walk along a 2.4km elevated boardwalk through a rainforest canopy. If time permits, you can drive to the scenic best lookouts at Blue Mountains. End the evening discovering the latest blockbusters at Imax theatre or join the Blue Mountains stargazing tour.

Day 5: Blue Mountains – Bowral (165km/2h)

Drive to Bowral to meet your farm host family. Farm activities include a tour of the farm, feeding and grooming of horses, and helping with the harvesting of fresh fruits and vegetables. If the season permits, you may get to experience sheep or alpaca shearing

Day 6: Bowral – Wollongong – Sydney (150km/2h15min)

After breakfast, bid farewell to your farm host family and continue the journey back along Grand Pacific Drive. Along the way, visit the Nan Tien Temple, nicknamed the “Southern Paradise” – the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere. Then drive along the Sea Cliff Bridge overlooking the serenity of the Pacific Ocean and Symbio Wildlife Park before heading back to Sydney.

Day 7 : Sydney

Explore Sydney city and its many iconic landmarks most notably, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Darling Harbour. Stop for lunch at the Sydney Fish Market and spend the afternoon exploring Sydney’s coastal life on a cruise, sailboat, or jet boat. The day would not be complete without a leisure stroll along the famous Bondi to Bronte Walk.

Day 8: Depart from Sydney

Return your car at the airport prior to your departure flight.
