ITINERARY

DAY 1: SINGAPORE - CHIANG MAI

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to hotel. Rest of they day free at leisure.

DAY 2: CHIANG MAI - CHIANG RAI

Let’s set off to Chiangrai, home to myriad mountains and forests couple culture temples. Make a first stop at Mae Kajan Hot Spring and get to try boiling chicken or quail eggs at own expenses. Next visit Singha Park which is situated 450 metres above sea level and spans over 12.8 kilometres. Enjoy your tram ride and it is home to a vast area of beautiful lakes, blooming flora and animals such as giraffes and zebras. Afterwards, proceed to Mae Sai, the northernmost town of Thailand, and one of the major border crossings between Thailand and Myanmar. Go on a Mekong River boat ride and take in the stunning views along the river of this legendary Golden Triangle formed by the borders. End the day with visit to a local village where you will enjoy hands on DIY water lantern experience.

Note: The optional Myanmar tour costs THB2,000 per traveller and includes visit to Tachileik Town. No visa is required. Subject to opening of border.

DAY 3: CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI

This morning, feast your eyes on Wat Rong Khun, also known as “The White Temple”. A unique temple that stands out through the white colour and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. Take a leisure drive back Chang Mai. Stopover at honey bee store to shop for honey products. Overlooking the city from its mountain throne, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is one of northern Thailand's most sacred temples, and its founding legend is learned by every schoolkid in Chiang Mai. Enjoy return funicular ride to take in the surroundings. Here, you can marvel at the panoramic views of Chiang Mai and the Ping River.

DAY 4: CHIANG MAI

After breakfast, visit Mae Taeng Elephant Camp and get to understand these giant creatures’ long shared history with the Thai people and has been a cultural icon and national symbol since ancient days. Today, you will get up close and personal with elephants at the camp with an elephant show and an exciting elephant ride around the open plains. Next, continue your tour of the rustic surrounds with a bamboo rafting and oxcart ride. Proceed to Longneck Village and understand more about the lifestyle and culture of this intriguing. Escape to the tranquil Phusanfah Resort, where you can indulge in picturesque flower viewing, and bask in the beauty of expansive paddy fields. Take beautiful photos at Dantewada Land of Angels Waterfall Park, which is full of waterfalls, rivers, flower fields, a cave and a number of different cafes to enjoy. Continue to Chiang Mai old city tour by tuk tuk ride to explore 3 Kings Monument, Tha Phae Gate and Muang Mai Market. Tonight, enjoy Khantoke dinner, a distinctive cuisine of the ancient Lanna Kingdom, together with a traditional and entertaining Lanna dance performance.

Note: Activities and rides at Mae Taeng Elephant Camp are subject to weather conditions.

DAY 5: CHIANG MAI - SINGAPORE

After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to Airport for your flight home.
