ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVE OSAKA – KYOTO

Upon arrival at Kansai International Airport (KIX), you will be greeted by your driver guide. Begin your adventure with a visit to Kawaramachi Shopping Street in Kyoto, where you can explore a mix of modern high-end fashion boutiques and traditional craft shops. Spend the evening soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and shopping delights. Overnight in Kyoto.

DAY 2: KYOTO – ARASHIYAMA – KYOTO

Begin your day with a visit to the picturesque Togetsukyo Bridge and the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, where the rustling bamboo creates a peaceful ambiance. Next, explore the stunning Golden Pavilion (included), a majestic structure reflecting the opulent Kitayama culture, with its top two floors completely covered in gold leaf. Conclude your day at Kiyomizudera (included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Kyoto's most iconic landmarks. DAY 3: KYOTO - UJI - MIE

Begin your day with a visit to Byodoin Temple in Uji, originally a countryside retreat for the politician Fujiwara no Machinaga. His son later transformed it into a temple, adding the iconic Phoenix Hall, which is depicted on the Japanese ten yen coin. Next, travel to Nabana no Sato, where you'll be mesmerized by expansive fields of seasonal flowers. This stunning location hosts various events throughout the year, including a spring flower festival, summer firefly watching, autumn momiji (maple) illuminations, and winter light displays. End your day with an overnight stay in Mie.

DAY 4: MIE

Begin your day with a visit to the renowned Ise Jingu Shrine, a sacred site over 2,000 years old dedicated to the Sun Goddess Amaterasu O-mikami. This historical shrine has been a spiritual destination for countless worshippers and pilgrims over the centuries. Continue your journey to Okage Yokocho, a charming district that vividly captures the culture, customs, and specialties of the Edo and Meiji periods. Your next stop is Mikimoto Pearl Island, the birthplace of the world-famous Mikimoto Pearls. DAY 5: MIE - NARA - OSAKA

After breakfast, embark on an exciting journey from Mie to Nara and Osaka. Start your day with a visit to the Igaryu Ninja Village, where you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ninjas. Continue to Nara, where you'll explore the famous Nara Deer Park, home to hundreds of friendly deer. DAY 6: OSAKA
