ITINERARY

Day 1 Singapore – Ankara

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Ankara.

Note:

Travellers flying by Qatar Airways flying into Ankara, will assemble on the night of Day 1. However, the flight only departs after midnight.

Day 2 Ankara – Cappadocia (Meals On Board/Lunch/Dinner)

Upon arrival in Ankara the capital of Turkiye, visit Ataturk Mausoleum, the final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who was regarded as the father of modern Turkiye. Thereafter, head to Cappadocia, which boasts a unique landscape sculpted by the wind, sun, rain and snow.

Note:

Ataturk Mausoleum will be closed to visitors on 10 Nov every year to commemorate the nation’s founding leader death anniversary. Should your visit falls on the day or any day where public admission to the Mausoleum is not allowed, it will be replaced with a visit to The Anatolian Civilisations Museum.

Day 3 Cappadocia (Breakfast/Pottery Kebab Lunch/Dinner)

Enjoy a full–day tour of Cappadocia. Make photo stops at Pigeon Valley and the foot of Uchisar Castle. Thereafter, visit a carpet factory and showroom and learn about the art of weaving Turkish carpets. Explore Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see Cappadocia gem, showcasing rock-cut churches and stunning frescoes from early Christianity. Next, proceed to Uchisar, an old village comprising small dwellings carved into a massive rock. If time permits, you may visit one of the homes in the contemporary village. Explore the Underground City, one of the largest underground cities in Turkiye, said to have existed since the Hittite period. Thereafter, visit a local jewellery shop where you can buy handcrafted natural stone creations. Complete your evening with a belly and folk-dance performance.

Day 4 Cappadocia (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Uncover Cappadocia’s rich history of wine and pottery today! Turkiye is situated within the Caucasus region, which is renowned as the birthplace of wine. Cappadocia boasts a longstanding history in winemaking. Archaeological evidence reveals grape cultivation and wine production in Cappadocia dating back to 8000 BC to 4000 BC. Connect with the rich history of Cappadocia as you savour the flavours of wines in a wine-tasting session. Later, visit the Avanos Pottery Village, where pottery transcends craft. It’s a living reflection of the region’s culture. Witness live demonstration, learn techniques firsthand, and support local artisans by acquiring unique pieces!

Day 5 Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Travel to Pamukkale via Konya and visit an ancient Caravanserai. Explore their historical significance, and gain insights into the rich history that occurred along ancient trade routes. After dinner, you may wish to enjoy an authentic thermal bath at your own expense.

During June, cherry picking in Konya.

Day 6 Pamukkale – Selcuk – Kusadasi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

View the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis and explore the Pamukkale travertines, commonly known as Cotton Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, made up of fascinating white terraces and pools created by calcareous hot spring waters flowing. Set off for Selcuk where you will explore Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest archaeological sites in existence.

Day 7 Kusadasi – Istanbul (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning, drive to Istanbul. Along the way, visit a Turkish leather showroom. Shop at the over 550–year–old Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4,000 stalls and shops selling leather goods, jewellery, handicrafts, ceramics, Turkish coffee and other local products. Tonight, check in to Chan Brothers’ exclusive Vialand Palace Hotel, an allsuite hotel located within Vialand Shopping & Entertainment World.

Note:

In the event where Vialand Palace Hotel is unavailable, your accommodation in Istanbul will be upgraded to a 5-star hotel. Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday and may be closed during religious holidays, and will be replaced with Spice Bazaar.

Day 8 Istanbul (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Visit the Blue Mosque, also known as the Sultanahmet Mosque, celebrated for its striking six minarets. Next, visit the historic Hippodrome, where you can see three monumental columns and an ancient fountain. If time permits,

enjoy some free time around Sultanahmet Square before proceed to explore the charm of Balat, an off-the-beatentrack neighbourhood with its colourful streets and narrow lanes adorned with traditional houses.

Note:

Ladies are kindly reminded to bring along a headscarf, as it is required for entering the mosque in accordance with local customs. The Blue Mosque is closed to non-worshippers on Fridays until the afternoon. Visit to the Blue Mosque will be rescheduled to the

Day 7.

Seasonal Bonus:

During April, view Tulips in Gezipark or Emirgan Park or Old City – Sultanahmet. Taste the delicious fish sandwich, a popular local snack, in May, in Golden Horn.

Day 9 Istanbul – Singapore (Breakfast/Meals On Board)

This morning, you may take an optional tour on a Bosphorus cruise to enjoy the unique experience cruising between the 2 continents of Asia and Europe, at your own expense. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
