ITINERARY

DAY 1: SINGAPORE - HELSINK

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

DAY 2: HELSINKI

Highlights:

Sibelius Monument, Temppeliaukio Church, Helsinki Cathedral, Sederholm House

Upon arrival, embark on a city tour and head to one of Helsinki’s landmarks, Sibelius Monument, built by Eila Hiltunen in honour of composer Jean Sibelius, before heading to the extraordinary Temppeliaukio Church, constructed out of solid rock. Continue on to the lively Market Square and view Helsinki’s administrative centre, Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, Government Palace and Sederholm House, the city’s oldest stone building.

DAY 3: HELSINKI

Spend the day at leisure. You may wish to join an optional Tallinn city tour and explore the walled cobblestoned Old Town of Estonia’s capital at your own expense.

DAY 4: HELSINKI - TROMSO

Highlights:

Kvaloya Aurora Camp, Sami Lavvu Dinner

Today, transfer to the airport for your flight to Tromso, the largest city in northern Norway. In the evening, visit Kvaloya Aurora Camp. Here, savour a traditional Sami dinner in a lavvu, the Sami equivalent of a Native American teepee that still remains a powerful symbol of Sami culture today. After dinner, you will have time to explore the surroundings and perhaps see the Northern Lights if you are lucky. DAY 5: TROMSO - HARSTAD

Highlights:

Arctic Cathedral, Tromso Cathedral, Fjellheisen Cable Car Ride

This morning, embark on a city tour to discover the city’s architectural masterpiece, Arctic Cathedral. Head to Tromso Cathedral, one of the largest wooden cathedrals in Norway built in the Gothic Revival style. Take the Fjellheisen cable car ride up to Mt Storsteinen, for a panoramic view of Tromso. Tonight, head to Harstad for your overnight stay.

DAY 6: HARSTAD - LOFOTEN ISLANDS

Today, head to the famed Lofoten Islands. Renowned for its dramatic scenery, Lofoten is situated just beneath the Auroral Oval, a belt that encircles the geomagnetic poles and provides some of the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Make a stop at Svolvaer, the capital of the Lofoten Islands. Continue on your drive to Henningsvaer, often called Venice of Lofoten for its artistic vibes. DAY 7: LOFOTEN ISLANDS - NARVIK

Today, go on a go on a scenic drive to discover the raw, unparalleled beauty of Lofoten Islands. Enjoy the incredible scenery along the roads, which offers many impressive photo-taking opportunities. Make a stop at Nusfjord, one of Norway’s oldest and best-preserved fishing village, scattered with delightful yellow and red fisherman cabins – traditionally known as rorbuers. Next, head to the breathtaking village of Reine, located on the island of Moskenes, also known as the Most Beautiful Place in the World. Tonight, cross over to Narvik, where the skies are especially clear and great for observing Northern Lights. DAY 8: NARVIK - KIRUNA

Highlights:

Scenic Arctic Circle Train Ride

After breakfast, transfer to the train station for a scenic Arctic Circle train ride to Kiruna in Sweden. Proceed for an Icehotel tour to see the famous hotel and an art exhibition made of ice and snow from the frozen Torne River, painstakingly sculpted by builders and artists. Do not forget to check out the ice bar and sip on a champagne or a delicious cocktail served in glasses made of ice.Note Arctic Circle train is subject to suitable weather and railway conditions and will be replaced with a coach ride if unavailable.

DAY 9: KIRUNA - ROVANIEMI

Today, travel across the border to Rovaniemi in Finland. Upon arrival, relive your childhood in the fairy-tale ambience of Santa Claus Village. In the evening, continue your search for the elusive Aurora Borealis on a Northern Lights hunting tour. Tonight, enjoy a campfire experience where you can also cook sausages over the open fire. If weather permits, you may be lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights, and have your memorable portraits taken by a professional photographer. DAY 11: ROVANIEMI

DAY 12: ROVANIEMI - SINGAPORE

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
