D1 SINGAPORE - INCHEON

D2 INCHEON - SEOUL - MOKPO

Highlights:

Gyeongbok Palac, Ikseon-dong hanok village, KTX high speed rail ride to Mokpo

Upon arrival in Seoul, start your day with a tour to the majestic Gyeongbok Palace, the palace during the Joseon dynasty. Roam its stately grounds, delve into its storied past and imagine what it might have been like centuries ago. Thereafter, proceed to Ikseon-dong hanok village, Korea cutest neighbourhood with little alleys filled with Hanoks, amazing cafes and great restaurants. After which proceed for an exciting “Bomb” pizza lunch, before enjoying a relaxing KTX high speed rail ride to Mokpo.

D3 MOKPO

Highlights:

Wolchulsan National Park, Cloud Bridge (Hanging Bridge), Dancing Sea Fountain

This morning, head to Wolchulsan National Park for a scenic hike. You will begin the trail with a combination of woods and bamboo. Afterwhich, some part of the trail is pretty rugged and steep. As you make your way up, there are a few clearings you can stop and take a look out. After about an hour or 2 of going up, You can reach the Cloud Bridge (Hanging Bridge). You will cross the bridge, 120m from the ground, 52m long, and 6m wide. The surrounding landscape really makes this Cloud Bridge a great experience. When you reach the top of Wolchulsan Mountain, there is a large flat granite rock that can fit up to 300 people. Staring down from here gives you a great view of Wolchulsan Mountain. Mt. Wolchulsan also contains a number of fine vantage points overlooking the meanders of the Yeongsangang River. On the way down to Dogapsa and Muwisa Temples, there is a field of reeds by the road that becomes spectacularly beautiful during fall. End your day with an enthralling display of light, sound and water at Dancing Sea Fountain.

D4 MOKPO - JEONJU

DAY 4Mokpo – Jeungdo Island – Jeonju

This morning, explore tranquil Jeungdo Island, which is the 1st city to be designated a slow city in Asia, by virtue of its unspoiled natural landscape and clean, pristine waters. Get back to basics with a visit to Taepyeong Salt Farm, Korea’s largest single salt farm. Experience the wonders of salt therapy at Salt Cave Healing Center. Afterwhich, enjoy a cup of savoury salt ice-cream. Next proceed to Jeonju Hanok Village and conclude the day with a better understanding of Korean culture. You will also be able to don the traditional Korean dress and enjoy a stroll through the traditional village in a Hanbok dress-up session.

DAY 4Mokpo – Naejangsan National Park – Jeonju

This morning, visit the beautiful Naejangsan National Park, famous for its 500-metre maple tunnel and Baekyangsa Temple which is surrounded by dense red maple forest that adds to the autumn ambience. Next proceed to Jeonju Hanok Village and conclude the day with a better understanding of Korean culture. You will also be able to don the traditional Korean dress and enjoy a stroll through the traditional village in a Hanbok dress-up session.

D5 JEONJU - UIWANG - SEOUL

Highlights:

Gunsan Gyeongam-dong Railroad Village, Famous Bread from Lee Sung Dang Bakery, Uiwang Rail Bike

This morning, we will visit a Gunsan Gyeongam-dong Railroad Village, a must-visit place when Koreans come to Gunsan. On first glance, resembles any other older neighbourhood in Korea until you notice the pair of train tracks that cuts straight through the middle of the village. In the past, trains from the Paper Korea factory- a factory that made paper used for print news- would cross through Gyeongamdong on these tracks carrying loads of supplies and finished products. Though the trains are now a part of history, the humble neighbourhood and visitors can now walk along the 2.5km railway tracks, passing by the old homes that have sat here for decades. Here in Gunsan, don’t forget to try out the famous Bread from Lee Sung Dang Bakery, the oldest bakery in Korea. Next embark on an exciting adventure at Uiwang Rail Bike. You will get to try out a stress-free rail bike experience along a 4.3-kilometre-long trail which takes about 40 minutes to complete. Besides getting some light exercise, you will also get to enjoy the beautiful lake view Thereafter, enjoy a relaxing scenic coach ride back to Seoul.

D6 SEOUL

Highlights:

Bukhansan Hike, Baekbeom Square Park at Namsan Mountain

This morning, enjoy a scenic trek along the unpaved paths between Bukhansan to the south and Dobongsan to the north along the Bukhansan Dulle-gil Trail. This unique trail have been restricted to public access due to the thwarted 1968 mission by 31 North Korean commandos to assassinate South Korean President Park Chung-hee, but the path was reopened in July 2009 under a reservation system. The natural ecosystem on this path has been well-preserved through about four decades of no human contact, and the gentle ascents and descents make Uiryeong-gil an easy walk. Next, proceed to Baekbeom Square Park at Namsan Mountain. Beside enjoying the tranquillity of Namsan mountain you will see the well-known statue of Kim Gu - a leader, an educator, a politician - symbolizes the spirit of patriotism which led to the Korea's independence.

D7 SEOUL

Highlights:

Tongin Market, Myeongdong Shopping Street

After breakfast, visit Ginseng Monopoly Showroom to browse and shop for some authentic Korean ginseng before making a stop at the Odbo cosmetic shop. Next, visit Tongin Market. Dating back to June 1941, this was a public market set up for Japanses residents when Korea was under Japanese rule. Now, it is a bustling yet traditional market filled with street vendors, restaurants. Experience purchasing an authentic Korean street snacks lunch box using traditional coins like how it was back in the olden days. Next, visit Myeongdong Shopping Street, you can expect many shops selling a diverse variety og goods such as fashion items and accessories.

D8 SEOUL - INCHEON - SINGAPORE

In the morning, visit Healthy Liver Shop to browse for some health products. If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
