ITINERARY

DAY 1 – SINGAPORE – INCHEON

Please assemble 3 hours before your departure at Singapore Changi Airport, take your flight to Incheon Airport.

DAY 2 – INCHEON – ULAANBAATAR

Take domestic flight to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Upon arrival, our professional guide will warmly welcome. After lunch check-in to hotel and visit Gandan Monastery. In the evening enjoy Mongolian Traditional folk concert.

DAY 3 – ULAANBAATAR – GOBI CARAVANSERAI/WHITE STUPA (440KM)

After breakfast, transfer to Tsagaan Suvarga /White Stupa/, which is a deep escarpment formed over time due to erosion of a sedimentary mud in the sea bottom and looks like a stupa from far distance. From far-east it looks like a city ruin or a settlement, but from west it looks like a flat steppe. This escarpment is 60m high, about 400m wide, and believed to have almost 900 steep banks. Lunch in a small local town on the way. In the late afternoon arrive and check-in to Gobi Caravanserai resort. Enjoy the vastness of Gobi and have a relaxing evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 4 – WHITE STUPA – BAYANZAG

Early in the morning transfer to the White Stupa for sunrise as it’s the best time to see the beauty of escarpment. Enjoy coffee picnic while greeting the sun rising over the vast horizon. Then transfer back to resort for breakfast and check-out.

Transfer to Dalanzadgad provincial town and visit newly renovated Natural History Museum and see the rare paleontological findings such as giant skeleton of Tarbasaurus Bataar. Lunch in a town restaurant. Then proceed to the worlds’ famous Flaming Cliffs and Bayanzag (sax forest) and discover the fantastic area where the first paleontological finding in Mongolia was found by following the footsteps of American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews. After exploring the area transfer to camp and rest for the day.

DAY 5 – BAYANZAG –MOLTSOG ELS SAND DUNES –VULTURE VALLEY/YOLIIN AM

After early breakfast, transfer to Moltsog els sand dunes and ride a camel for about 30 mins near the sand dunes.

Then transfer to Yol Valley and have lunch at a camp. Take an easygoing excursion up to Yol Valley, beautiful gorge formed by river flowing through rocky mountain. It is a good trekking that gives you stunning photographic opportunities. Tourists can alternatively trip on a horseback with Guide (Optional, SGD20/PP for 30mins). After the excursion visit a small local museum which exhibit flora and fauna of the area. In the afternoon, free time to enjoy tranquility of Mongolian Gobi and stargaze by campfire in the evening.

DAY 6 – DALANZADGAD ULAANBAATAR (08:30/10:00)

Early morning, transfer to Dalanzadgad airport and travel to Ulaanbaatar by domestic flight.

Arrive in the morning, then transfer to city center for lunch. After lunch visit newly opened Chinggis Khaan museum and explore the rich history of Mongolian people from Bronze age to 20th century. Then visit Sukhbaatar Square and after that shopping at local Cashmere store and souvenir shop. Have dinner and rest for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ulaanbaatar

DAY 7 – ULAANBAATAR – TERELJ NATIONAL PARK

In the morning, transfer to Terelj National Park. Upon arrival, Visit local nomadic herder’s family and riding horse (1hour, optional tour, SGD20/PP). Then check-in to the ger camp. After the lunch enjoy Mini-Naadam where you will experience the real atmosphere of Naadam Festival. Watch the “Three Manly Games”; wrestling, horse racing and archery. If interested you could also participate in archery and wrestling competition. After the mini festival enjoy banquet dinner with highlight being Mongolian traditional Lamb BBQ “Khorkhog”. Finish the festive day with dancing around the bonfire. (for non-lamb eaters’ other options are available).

DAY 8 – TERELJ NATIONAL PARK – ULAANBAATAR

After breakfast, visit Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex and then back to Ulaanbaatar. Today we will explore the city highlights such as Zaisan Hill Memorial, Bogd Khaan Palace Museum and Narantuul Black Market. In the evening enjoy farewell Gala dinner (Venue : Holiday Inn Ball Room) with Mongolian fashion show and performance with contemporary artist.

DAY 9 – ULAANBAATAR – INCHEON

After breakfast, heading to Ulaanbaatar Airport for your domestic flight to Incheon. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel, free at leisure.
