Soak up the old England atmosphere at this quaint village decorated with gorgeous flowers and surrounded by lush rolling hills and mountains. DAY 4 – Mt ASO – BEPPU – KUMAMOTO (Breakfast/Lunch)

Today, visit Takachiho Gorge.  The nearly sheer cliffs lining the gorge are made of slow-forming volcacic basalt columns which resemble the scales of a dragon where the stone twisted and flowed as it formed.  Partway along the gorge, you will see the gorgeous 17-meter-high Manai Falls cascading down to the rivew below.  Stroll along the trails to admire the waterfall against a backdrop of dense green foliage and surrounding fliffs.  Then, A jaunt to the city’s foremost attraction, Kumamoto Castle, which is required – deservingly so – as one of the 3 most famous castles in Japan. In the late afternoon, navigate the streets of Kamitori and Shimotori, major shopping belts in downtown Kumamoto and flex those credit cards.

Next, proceed to visit Nagasaki Peace park, which commemorates the atomic explosion on 9th August 1945 that contributed to the end of the Pacific War. Within the park, you will find Peace Statue and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, the latter housing preserved evidence of the atomic blast. Tonight, ascend the 333-metre high Mt Inasa and enjoy an aerial perspective of the spectacular night views of Nagasaki.

After breakfast, make a stop at Glover Garden and then proceed for a shopping spree awaits at Tosu Premium Outlets, where you will be spoilt for choice with the various domestic and foreign brands available.
