ITINERARY

DAY 1 – SINGAPORE – HANEDA/NARITA – OSAKA (Meals on Board/Bento Box Dinner)

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Osaka. Upon arrival, proceed to your hotel.

DAY 2 – OSAKA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Your visit to the region of Kansai will kick off on a regal note with a visit to Osaka Castle, one of the most famous sights in the city. Surrounded by a sprawling verdant park, this majestic historical relic affords a vast panoramic view of the entire city. Next, enjoy some fun time at Nara Deer Park. The park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer of which will bow and ask to be fed. Deer crackers are for sale around the park; you may purchase a pack and enjoy the up-close personal moment with a tame deer. Then, make a visit to the World Heritage Todaiji Temple, with a 15meter tall bronze status housed within. End the day at Shinsaibashi Shopping Street, a shopper’s paradise with a history of almost 400 years. Proceed to your hotel to rest your tired feet, deposit your shopping bags and retire for the evening.

DAY 3 – OSAKA (Breakfast)

Today, you are free to explore Osaka at your own pace. You could spend half the day at the spectacular Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest public aquariums in the world renowned for its innovation at recreating the natural environment of the amazing Pacific Rim marine life designed to stimulate and excite the animal and visitor alike. After your visit to the Aquarium, you might want to hop on to the Tempozan Ferris Wheel for a bird’s eye view of the bay area and the towering skyscrapers. And if you’re feeling hungry, Naniwa Food Theme Park located in Tempozan Marketplace shopping mall is the perfect place to satisfy your taste buds with a wide variety of dishes and specialities from Osaka.

DAY 4 – OSAKA – KYOTO (Breakfast/Lunch/Shabu-Shabu Dinner)

After breakfast, proceed to Togetsukyo Bridge, the most popular landmark in the Arashiyama district boasting resplendent views of Katsura River framed against the captivating shades of spring and autumn in the surrounding foliage and the magnificent Arashiyama Mountain. Proceed to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and step into a world of peace and tranquil as the wind gently rustles the towering bamboo stalks. Next, make a stop at one of the city’s cultural legacies and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kiyomizu-dera Temple This distinctive Kyoto landmark features a wooden veranda that hangs over the valley, providing a panoramic view of the city as you take in more than a thousand years of history.

DAY 5 KYOTO – KANAZAWA (Breakfast/Japanese Set Lunch/Yakiniku Dinner)

This morning, get ready to browse and shop at the buzzing Nishiki Ichiba Market, where each of the 200 shops offers fresh food and regional specialities whilst jostling for attention in a busy and colourful atmosphere. Next, take a leisurely drive to Kanazawa. On the way, take a visit to Yunokuni no Mor traditional craft village. Here, get to see many fascinating old houses that dated back to the historical Edo period of Japan and get to hands on Gold Leaf Pasting Experience on small cultural item and bag home as souvenir. Next, visit Kenrokuen Garden, hailed by many as one of Japan’s 3 great gardens.

DAY 6 – KANAZAWA – TAKAYAMA – NAGANO (Breakfast/Hida Pork Lunch/8-
Course Kaiseki Dinner)

This morning, unleash the inner heritage buff in you at Shirakawa-go, a well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage site featuring quaint farmhouses with distinctive steep roofs that resemble clasped hands in prayer. Next, explore the charming Takayama town with its buildings and streets dating back to the Edo period when it flourished as a wealthy merchant town. Stroll past sake breweries and rows of merchant houses adorned with lattice bay windows and pick up unique Hida souvenirs and confectionary along the way. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing beauty bath at an onsen resort in Nagano.

DAY 7 – NAGANO – MT FUJI – TOKYO (Breakfast)

This morning, take a leisure drive up Japan’s highest mountain, the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mt Fuji. Proceed up to Mt Fuji 5th station to enjoy a breathtaking view of the volcano and its surrounds. Thereafter, make a stop at Gotemba Premium Outlets. Die hard shopaholics and stylistas will need an iron will and a steel-clad resolve to keep wallets in check, for a constellation of international brands and speciality stores housing the trendiest threads converge here. End the day with a shopping spree in Shinjuku, a sprawling district dotted with dazzling neon signs and sleek skyscrapers.

DAY 8 – TOKYO – SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals On Board)

If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to airport for your flight home.
