ITINERARY

DAY 1 – SINGAPORE – CHIANG MAI

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to hotel.

DAY 2 – CHIANG MAI – CHANGRAI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Let’s set off to Chiangrai, home to myriad mountains and forests couple culture temples. Make a first stop at Mae Kajan Hot Springs and get to try boiling chicken or quail eggs at own expenses. Proceed on to visit Wat Rong Suea Ten also known as Blue Temple, frame with brilliant shade of rich sapphire, here you can witness a fascinating fusion of traditional Buddhist values and classic Thai architecture with extremely contemporary design choices. Next is Wat Huay Pla Kang, the iconic Guan Yin Buddha statue is 9 stories high and is often referred to as “The Big Buddha of Chiang Rai”. Climb all the way to the top and enjoy amazing aerial view of the surrounding. Wrap up the day with a shopping spree at Local Night Market. This is also the place where you can shop and snack to your heart’s content and find beautiful handicrafts and souvenirs for your friends and family back home.

DAY 3 – CHANGRAI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Exploring magical northern Thailand at Chiang Saen, the oldest city in the country teeming with temples and steeped in centuries of history and a small river town that straddles the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. Go on a Mekong River boat ride and take in the stunning views along the river of this legendary Golden Triangle formed by the borders. Thereafter pick up some local snacks and souvenirs at Indo-China Market. Take in the stunning reflection emerald pool surrounding unseen trees at Lake Tham Luang nestled in Khun Nam Nang Non Forest Park, indeed insta-worthy. End the day at Chui Fong Tea Plantation, marvel at the picturesque terraced tea fields with scent of tea.

DAY 4 – CHANGRAI – CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning, proceed to Longneck Karen Village and understand more about the lifestyle and culture of this intriguing. Feast your eyes on Wat Rong Khun, also known as “The White Temple”. A unique temple that stands out through the white colour and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. Next visit Singha Park which is situated 450 metres above sea level and spans over 12.8 kilometres. Enjoy your tram ride and it is home to a vast area of beautiful lakes, blooming flora and animals such as giraffes and zebras. Enjoy splendid panoramic views overlooking the park while you savour your lunch. Take a leisure drive back Chang Mai.

DAY 5 – CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/Jungle-Themed Lunch/Khantoke Dinner)

After breakfast, visit Maesa Elephant Camp and get to understand these giant creatures’ long shared history with the Thai people and has been a cultural icon and national symbol since ancient days. Today, you will get up close and personal with elephants at the camp with elephant feeding experience. Next, continue your tour of the rustic surrounds with a bamboo raft and oxcart ride. Enjoy a jungle-theme lunch where the restaurant literally nestled in the jungle. Next, take in a breath-taking view at Mon Jam, a picturesque hilltop viewpoint in Chiang Mai province. Learn more and be dazzled with the array of colour and the wealth of variety of Thai orchid at Chiang Mai Orchid Farm. This evening, proceed for a Khantoke dinner, a distinctive cuisine of the ancient Lanna Kingdom.

DAY 6 – CHIANG MAI (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning, let’s experience the real local life by offerings in monk’s alms bowls and receive a holy monk blessing as a way to start your day. Overlooking the city from its mountain throne, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is one of northern Thailand’s most sacred temples, and its founding legend is learned by every schoolkid in Chiang Mai. Challenge yourself and take on a mini hike with 306 steps up to reach this temple, the intent is to help devotees accrue Buddhist merit. Next visit century old temple Wat Umong and Wat Phalad. Thereafter, enjoy shopping spree at Kad Luang Market, also known as Warorot Market, a historical landmark and a long-standing market, known for its variety of specialty Chiang Mai food and products. Explore the 3-storey building with each floor a theme of food, snacks, clothing and merchandise. It is the main local market and is a busy place where you can feel the real Chiang Mai.

DAY 7 – CHIANG MAI (Breakfast)

Today is set free at leisure for your shopping spree.

After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to Airport for your flight home.
