DAY 1 – SINGAPORE – AUCKLAND

Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Auckland, the largest city of New Zealand also known as the “city of sails”.

DAY 2 – AUCKLAND – ROTORUA

Upon arrival in Auckland, start with visiting Baitul Muqeet Mosque, the largest mosque in the country during its completion period in 2013. Next, embark on your journey to Rotorua, a city known for its geothermal activities and Maori Culture situated in the Bay of Plenty region with Rotorua derives from its name in Maori Language, which form “Roto” meaning of lake and “Rua” meaning number two, second lake in Maori. Its rich history and culture will make you never want to miss stay for a few nights.

DAY 3 – ROTORUA

This morning, start your day with a visit to Te Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley and Maori Arts and Craft Centre where you will learn and understand the history and culture of the Maori. It is the iconic Maori Village of New Zealand. Meet and greet by your representative guide and explore the geothermal section of the centre with a view of Te Puia Pohutu Geyser. Next, visit the National Kiwi Hatchery, to learn more about the native bird species of New Zealand and the iconic animal of the country. Continue with a ride up the skyline cable car to Mount Ngongotaha where you will have an opportunity to experience the longest luge ride in New Zealand of 2 kilometers with magnificent view of Lake Rotorua.

DAY 4 – ROTORUA – MATAMATA – AUCKLAND

After breakfast, proceed to Matamata with a visit to the Hobbiton Filmset. This local owned farm by the Alexanders family is the largest sheep farm in the Waikato region of North Island and was chosen by Peter Jackson in the year 1998 as one of the major film-site of the movie, “Lord of the Rings”. Proceed back to Auckland where you will go on a city tour that covers Parnell VillageAuckland Harbour Bridge and the Sky Tower.

DAY 5 – AUCKLAND – CHRISTCHURCH

Christchurch City

Today, bid farewell to North Island while you board onto a Domestic Flight from Auckland to Christchurch. Upon arrival into Christchurch, known as the “garden city”, start with a tour around the city. Visit Cashmere Hills and the Sign of Takahe, where you will be able to have a glance of the panoramic view of the city. Next, continue to view Hagley GardensBotanic GardenTransitional Cardboard Cathedral and University of Canterbury. Visit Al Noor Mosque, a Sunni Mosque built in 1985 by the Muslim Association of Canterbury. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure or you may indulge yourself with some shopping spree.

DAY 6 – CHRISTCHURCH – HOKITIKA – FOX GLACIER

Start your day fresh with a drive from the Canterbury Region towards the west coast region of the island. You may wish to board the Tranz Alpine Scenic Train at your own expenses. Stop by Arthur’s Pass National Park, the highest mountain pass around the Southern Alps. It is also known as the historical hunting route for the Maori. Next, continue your journey to Hokitika, a town situated along the west coast region of South Island. Visit the Greenstone factory and Glass-blowing studio. Be fascinated by how glass is being made. After which, proceed to Westland Tai Poutini National Park where you will view Fox Glacier. You may wish take a helicopter ride over the glacier at your own expenses.

DAY 7 – FOX GLACIER – QUEENSTOWN

This day, proceed from West Coast region to the Otago region where Queenstown, a popular tourist township situated. Drive pass Haast Pass, one of the three mountain passes in the Southern Alps of South Island. Next, proceed with a view of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea, these lakes were carved from alpine glaciers 10,000 years ago and are well known for water-sport during the summer season. Continue your journey to Goldfields Mining Centre, a historical gold mining centre during the gold rush era in 1861. Understand how gold was being mined and founded within the Otago region of the old days. View the Kawarau River along the Kawarau Gorge that got its water drained from Lake Wakatipu. You may wish to take up an adventures jetboat at your own expenses. Lastly, proceed to Queenstown where the town is situated at the shores of Lake Wakatipu.

DAY 8 – QUEENSTOWN

Spend the day at leisure. You may wish to join an optional tour to the ruggedly beautiful Milford Sound, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or try horseback riding and whitewater rafting at your own expense.

DAY 9 – QUEENSTOWN – ARROWTOWN – LAKE TEKAPO

Mt Cook & Lake Pukaiki

This morning, drive towards Arrowtown, a historical gold mining town that is surrounded by the Remarkables Mountain Range, founded in 1862 during the Gold Rush period. Walk down the quiet streets of the town and view the Arrow River, where gold was first founded. Stop by AJ Hackett bridge for a view of the first Bungy jump in the world. Next, proceed to Mt Cook National Park region with a stop at the Mt Cook Lookout along Lake Pukaiki. Mount Cook is New Zealand’s highest mountain, and is also known as Aoraki in Maori. If weather permits, take an optional helicopter ride up to Tasman Glacier at your own expense. Continue with a visit to Church of the Good Shepherd along the shores of the magnificent Turquoise colored Lake Tekapo.

DAY 10 – LAKE TEKAPO – CHRISTCHURCH

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic ride through Mackenzie Region and Burke’s Pass. Stop at Farmers Corner, where you can shop for New Zealand’s premium products and souvenirs such as wool, honey and many more. Interact with cute alpacas and you may wish to hand-feed them at the alpaca farm behind farmers corner. Proceed back to Christchurch with a visit to the International Antarctic Center to gain understandings of the unknown continent of the Antarctica. Enjoy their latest attraction, 4D Extreme Theatre, and hop onto a Hagglund ride to experience a thrilling Antarctic adventure.

DAY 11 – CHRISTCHURCH – SINGAPORE
