Day 1: SINGAPORE – FRANKFURT
Welcome to a unique experience! Assemble at Changi Airport for our flight to Frankfurt, a major financial hub and birthplace of the famed writer, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.

Day 2: FRANKFURT – DUSSELDORF
After immigration procedures, drive to the compact old town of Frankfurt.

Visit Romerplatz, the center of all festivities in Frankfurt. Admire colour half-timbered buildings lining the square. The Romer is the historical town hall with a neo-Gothic façade. At the south end of the square is St Nicolas Church.

Take a leisurely drive to Dusseldorf, the modern and vibrant capital of Germany’s North Rhine Westphalia state.

Day 3: DUSSELDORF – BREMEN
Stroll through picturesque lanes and experience history coming to life. Learn about the twisted tower of St Lambertus Church, the story behind the Rider statue and the birthplace of famous German poet Heinrich Heine. The Burgplatz with the Schlossturm holds great charm.

A stone’s throw away is the Rhine embankment promenade – offering a stunning view of Dusseldorf’s skyline and the Oberkassel Rhine banks.

Continue to Bremen, formerly a city of the Hanseatic League.

Day 4: BREMEN – HAMELIN – LOWER SAXONY
The Town Hall with its Renaissance architecture is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and certainly is one of the finest in Europe. The statue of Knight Roland, a protector of trade is also on the UNESCO Heritage list.

See the famous bronze display of the Bremen Town Musicians on the west of the Town Hall. Stroll on Boettcherstrasse, an incredible Art Nouveau street that runs from the main square towards the river.

Travel to Hamelin where we can relive the folktale about the Pied Piper.

Curated Experience: Enjoy a ‘Pied Piper’ guided tour bringing us to historic locals and famous spots evolved around the fairy tale.

Day 5: LOWER SAXONY – KASSEL
Travel along the Weser River through the Reinhardswald Forest.

Make a photo-stop at the Trendelburg Castle with more than 700 years of history and where ‘Rapunzel’ used to let her hair down to her prince.

Next, meet the world’s most kissed girl in Goettingen where the Brothers Grimm lived after they moved from Kassel. The old town, surrounded by the city wall is well preserved and restored. The statue of the girl with geese in front of the town hall is kissed by all students who earned their doctor’s degree.

Drive to Kassel, the heart of the fairy tale route. The Brothers Grimm spent more than 30 years in the city and revised more than 200 fairy tales as well as numerous legends to create a unique cultural treasure.

Day 6: KASSEL
Visit the beautiful Wilhelmshoehe Park where the famous Hercules statue stands.

Visit the Schloss Wilhelmsthal built in the 18th century as a summer residence for the Elector. It is considered one of Germany’s most charming Rococo palaces. (In event that the palace is close, it will be replaced by another venue).

Day 7: KASSEL – MARBURG – ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER
Proceed to Marburg in the Lahn Valley where The Brothers Grimm were inspired by the medieval flair of half-timbered houses, narrow alleys, steep steps and the imposing Landgrave palace.

Trace the Fairy Tale Pathway which weaves its way through Marburg and commemorates their stories with giant sculptures on houses, steps and walls.

Drive to the best-preserved medieval town in Germany, Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It is also one of the most visited on the Romantic Road of Germany.

Day 8: ROTHENBURG OB DER TAUBER – METZINGEN
Stroll around the well-preserved medieval walls to the see Markus & White Towers and the fairy-tale like Town Square. View the city’s largest St Jakob’s Church with its impressive twin towers.

It is time for retail therapy as we drive to OutletCity in Metzingen where the brand Hugo Boss began in 1877. Enjoy discounts off the many flagship stores located in this outlet centre.

Day 9: METZINGEN – GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN
Visit ‘Mad King’ Lugwig’s fairy tale castle – Neuschwanstein Castle where the interior is as whimsical as the exterior. (Note: Visit to Hohenschwangau Castle if Neuschwanstein Castle is not available.

Proceed to Oberammergau which is famous for its Luftmalerei: frescoes of traditional Bavarian themes, fairy tales or religious scenes found on many homes and buildings and the world-famous Passion Play.

Day 10: GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN – MUNICH
Experience Germany’s highest attraction! Ascend 2962m to the ‘Top of Germany’, Zugspitze.

Admire the matchless 360° panorama across a total of 400 peaks in 4 countries – Austria, Germany, Italy & Switzerland.

Make our way to Munich, the buzzing Bavarian Capital well-known for its charm.

Day 11: MUNICH
Enter the city through the Medieval Gates, the first of the city’s fortifications.

Enjoy the bustle of the Viktualienmarkt, an open-air market full of little stores selling wursts, fruits, flowers & cheese.

Admire the spires of the Gothic style City Hall, onion-shaped domes of the Frauenkirche and the unique architecture of the Olympic Park.

Transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore.
